Rostering options
Clever
Clever
Teachers and students sign in through their district’s Clever portal or with the “Sign in with Clever” option on LitLab. Signing in and rostering are available if districts have enabled either Clever Library access or Secure Sync.
ClassLink
ClassLink
Teachers and students sign in through their district’s ClassLink portal or with the “Sign in with ClassLink” option on LitLab. Rostering requires IT approval and a RosterServer connection before educators can sync classes.
Manual rostering
Manual rostering
Teachers without an SIS integration manually add students to their class in a single step. Students then sign in with the class code or link their teacher provides.
School admin dashboard
School admins get a usage dashboard covering:- Usage — stories created, student engagement, and assignment completion trends over time.
- Teacher activity — per-teacher activity, with two adoption signals: Activated (printed or assigned at least once this school year) and Habit (completed a core action on 3+ days within a rolling 28-day period).
- Individual teacher views — Drill into any teacher’s dashboard to see their LitLab view: monitor student assignments, listen to student recordings, and track mastery across your school’s scope and sequence.
Detailed account management (i.e., changing roles, merging accounts, and similar admin actions) is handled by the LitLab support team on request.
