Assigning is available from any story in LitLab or directly from your Dashboard.

Before assigning, make sure your students are rostered. You can roster using any method below:

• Rostering via ClassLink →
• Rostering via Clever →
• Rostering students manually →

Option 1: Assign from any story

1. Open any story in the LitLab Library.

2. Click Assign in the upper-right corner.

3. The Assignment window will appear.

   

Option 2: Assign from your Dashboard

1. Go to your Dashboard.

2. Click + New Assignment.

3. The same Assignment window will appear.

   

Using the Assignment Window

Whether you start from a story or from the Dashboard, the steps are the same:

1. Select a Skill

• The skill automatically defaults to the skill of the story you opened (if you’ve chosen to assign a specific story).
